Soft Doll Amelie - by HABA Review

(More customer reviews)I got this doll for my one-year-old when she started showing an interest in baby dolls. It is very well made and I can tell it will last a long time. It is not really soft; it feels like it's packed tight with sand. (I'm sure it isn't, but that's what it feels like.) My daughter still snuggles it, though.
The one very minor complaint or warning I would have is that the skirt and shoes are difficult to get onto the doll (even for me), and the shirt and shoes have short strings for tying. No big deal if your child isn't very interested in dressing and undressing it over and over, demanding your help and screaming if you're too busy. ;)

First Blocks Review

Haba Fabric Bear Titus Review

Waldorf Natural Doll Stroller Review

(More customer reviews)This little boy doll is the perfect size for our toddler son. The quality of the doll is superb. The stitching is tight and precise, no loose threads anywhere to be found. The doll itself is made from a heavy canvas, so it should stand the test of time. We've had ours for six months or so and it's held up nicely to being tossed around by a toddler. One of the coolest things about the doll is the accessories: removable hat, belt, shoes, bag, jacket, shirt, and pants. We love that the hair on the doll springs out when the hat is taken off, really cute.
HABA makes really beautiful dolls. They're a little pricey, but the quality can't be beat. My one complaint about Yannik is that his bean bag butt doesn't quite allow the doll to sit on its own. But that's a minor issue for us. Recommended!

(More customer reviews)Sleepy Princess and the Pea is a beautiful game for children ages 3-12. It is made by Haba toys, a German toy manufacturer that makes games and toys using real materials like wood and fabric to produce top-quality products that will make any parent and every child happy.
Sleepy Princess is based on the classic fairy tale where a disheveled young girl shows up at a palace one rainy night and claims to be a princess. The queen tests her by putting her in a bed with dozens of mattresses, pillows and blankets beneath her and a tiny pea buried beneath them all. If she is a real princess, thinks the queen, she will be so delicate that she will feel the discomfort of the pea beneath the huge pile of bedding. Of course, the princess passes the test and is rewarded with the prince of the palace's hand in marriage.
This game is a relatively simple game, all the players have to do is stack the provided mattresses on top of the pea without allowing them to tumble. Children do not need to be able to read to play this game, but it will help them develop their fine motor skills and the cooperative version of the game does away with the winner/loser sensibility that so many American children's games have.
Children will find the charming concept and fun and colorful game pieces (including the adorable wooden princess doll) irresistable. This game is particularly enticing for children who are studying Waldorf or Montessori methods of education, where tactile learning is encouraged.

Is the princess really a princess? The players pile up cushions, blankets and mattresses for the "bed test". At the bottom of it all, of course, lies a pea! A wobbly pilling game with two variations, for 1 - 4 children. Includes the fairytale to read over and over again.

Doll Lotta 15" Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this doll for my 18 month old daughter for Christmas and she hasn't slept without it since! The clothes are colorful and much more durable than some other doll clothes she's received as gifts. Lotta has beans in her bum so that she can sit upright and has oodles of soft chenille hair that can actually be combed and put in a pony-tail. The doll is made of a nice durable canvas-type cloth and I continue to be impressed with its quality, especially with the tough love it gets from my toddler.

(More customer reviews)I just bought this for my tea-party loving daughter. It is perfect. Yes, the tea bags are small but they are perfectly sized for a child's tea party. Anything bigger would not fit into a child's tea cup/tea set. It is sized to scale. I would not buy an adult size tea set for my daughter; therefore, I would not but adult size tea bags. We love them. PErfect for the tea party with Dollie and Teddy.

Haba Nelly Soft Doll - 12 inches tall Review

(More customer reviews)I've gotten this doll for my granddaughter's first Christmas. I am ever so pleased with the quality of workmanship. The facial features are stitched on, she's soft and huggable, just the right size for our little girl, the hair is not yarn, and this doll has no plastic or vinyl on her.
I do have a concern about the laces on the shoes for a child so young, but my daughter assures me that they will be removed and not used until our granddaughter is of an age that they will not longer pose a danger.
I am not purchasing additional clothing for her (although I love the clothing that could be purchased) because I remember that my children's dolls mostly went around naked for quite a while when my girls were little, and I feel it would be better to wait until the dolls stay clothed before making that purchase.
I do recommend this doll. She's just right for us. I can hardly wait for Christmas!

Haba Paola Soft Doll - 15" tall Review

(More customer reviews)My 16 month old daughter received Paola for Christmas and already loves her. She takes her everywhere and has fun trying to dress and undress her. All of Paola's clothes and accessories are well made (not to mention super cute!) and her shoes are velcro which is nice since my daughter can take them on and off her more easily than if they were laces. I like the size of the doll and the fact that it is non-toxic. I would highly recommend Paola to anyone!
